Dear Customers & Suppliers,

As you are aware things are changing at a rapid pace both around the world and here in Thailand with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is forcing its way into our lives and our thoughts go out to all that have been affected at this time.

None of us truly knows the scale and scope of the challenge, but there is no doubt a fear of the unknown is unsettling for all of us, our families, friends and business partners.

At SHAPE, our highest priority is the health and wellbeing of our employees, partners and the communities in which we operate, even more so now in these troubling and uncertain times. We are monitoring developments as they evolve and taking the appropriate steps - consistent with government and health authority guidance - to help and support the ongoing wellbeing of everyone across the business and in our broader communities.

To this end today SHAPE have taken the following decisions in terms of the business moving forward for the next four (4) weeks minimum:

  1. All people that can effectively do so within our organization will be working from home. This will cover our Projects Engineering Team, Sales & Marketing & General Management.
  2. All non-essential travel or visits to Client sites will be put on hold.
  3. All projects where we are actively working on site at the moment in terms of installation, testing or commissioning are planned to continue. However these will need to be reviewed on a constant basis in line with both safe working practices and any government or regional regulations that are brought in over the coming period.
  4. All non-essential visits by non-SHAPE employees to the SHAPE offices & factory are to be put on hold.
  5. Our Design & Manufacturing Teams will still be operating but under strict physical distancing protocols.

All of the above will come into effect from Tuesday, 24th March 2020.

This is obviously going to have a certain impact on how we are going to be able to function as a business but we will continue to try and maintain as high a level of service as we possibly can in these troubling times but the health & well being of our Customers, SHAPE staff and all who we work and live alongside must be our highest priority in this rapidly changing situation that we all face.

If circumstances arise that create a conflict between health and wellbeing and our ability to deliver, we will contact and discuss with you. Wherever possible our commitment will remain to serve and support you and as a socially committed business SHAPE will continue to use our best endeavors to do our part in slowing the spread of this terrible infection.

On behalf of all at SHAPE, we thank you for your continued support in this incredibly challenging and unprecedented time and would like to sincerely thank you all for your continued trust and partnership.

Let us aim to come out of this stronger - together.
